Pet Therapy

Pet therapy is a broad term for animal-assisted therapy that can be applied in a wide variety of situations. In hospice, therapy pets decrease isolation as well as depression. The act of petting diminishes anxiety and encourages socialization for patients who have isolated themselves.

All certified therapy pets must have a record of up-to-date vaccines.
