We Treat Both the Patient and Their Family - Not Just the Illness
Traditional health care only focuses on attacking the illness, but we understand that this process is really about people. We have a low patient to health care worker ratio so we can get to know you and your family better. We take our time with you, at least an hour to 1-½ hours each time we visit so we can forge those relationships.  We celebrate birthdays and holidays with you. Occasionally, we put "medical" things aside for the moment and enjoy our time together, whether it's reading a book together, doing manicures or simply sitting with our patients for a nice long talk. We concentrate on offering comfort and compassion for everyone involved. In addition to providing you with professional service, we truly listen to you and help in any way possible.

We Create a Compassionate Support System
Grace Hospice provides you with our Medical Social Workers, Chaplains and Bereavement Specialists to give everyone the support they need, because we know that this situation affects both our patients and their family. Our social workers can assist you with any medical planning needs while our family support specialists offer counseling and classes to patients and their families from the beginning of service, not just at the end.

We Emphasize the Quality of Life
Our patients are able to remain with their loved ones in their current living environment, wherever that may be, and we make sure that their comfort and dignity are always respected. Our medical directors oversee pain management and respond quickly to any medical emergencies which may arise. We also employ an advanced wound care specialist to ensure patient comfort at all times. We also provide continuous care services during life's final stages so both patient and family can concentrate on the issues most important to them.

You Will Never Be Charged for Our Services
Grace Hospice provides any services not covered by Medicare or private insurance free of charge. We handle all the paperwork and will coordinate admission with your family physician and insurance company and/or Medicare. We also keep your personal physician updated on your condition on a regular basis.
