The Grace Hospice Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to increasing awareness of the importance of hospice care. The Grace Hospice Foundation was born from our strong commitment to improve our community. As a local business, we are dedicated to lives of those who live next door.
Our Mission
is to promote the principles of hospice care, educate our community, subsidize
care for patients and families, and grant the wishes of hospice patients.
Educate our Community and Promote the Principles of Hospice Care
Medicare
allows a hospice benefit to all individuals with a life-limiting or terminal
diagnosis. Much of our community is
not aware of this.
Our mission is to educate our entire community about hospice care so they may
make the right choice for themselves and their families.
Subsidize Care for Patients and Families
Our care will be provided to all patients, regardless of their ability to pay. Our mission is to subsidize the care of patients that are without the Medicare hospice benefit or other private insurance, insuring that all individuals have the same opportunity for care. We hope to reach patients and families that may have otherwise be forced to weather this difficult time alone.
Ms. Senior Oklahoma Pageant
The Grace Hospice Foundation is proud to sponsor the Ms. Senior Oklahoma Pageant. This event celebrates senior women from around the Tulsa area. More than 35 area senior living facilities and organizations are participating and will compete in four categories:
- Assisted Living
- Independent Living
- Long Term Care
- Adult Day Care
Pageant participants must be at least 55 years old and currently live in a continuum care facility for at least six months. This year’s Ms. Senior Oklahoma pageant will be held at the TCC VanTrease Performing Arts Center at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 6, 2008. LeAnne Taylor of KOTV will be the emcee and Cindy Morrison of KTUL will be singing at the event. The pageant attracts more than 500 people who are there to support the contestants and is promoted throughout the more than 35 senior living facilities that participate.
This is an excellent opportunity to honor and support our senior ladies and also promote your product and services to them and their families and friends.

This year, our emcees will be Frank Mitchell of KTUL and his wife, former anchor from KTUL and currently the Director of the Oklahoma Aquarium.
